EVERLAM™ COOL, our no-compromise solar control solution
EVERLAM™ COOL is a new generation of high-performance PVB film using nanoparticles technology and designed to give laminated safety glass more efficient solar heat control properties. It uniquely combines an excellent protection against infra-red radiation with the advantage of allowing light in while preserving the natural colors of what we can see through the glass.
EVERLAM™ COOL key features at a glance:
Constantly high Light-to-Solar Gain ratio (up to 1.7) with tunable solar heat gain coefficient as low as 0.3;
Low reflection of visible light (< 7%);
Significant and sustainable energy savings.
As for all its products, EVERLAM™ COOL benefits from EVERLAM’s excellence in customer and technical support.
With EVERLAM™ COOL, true colors shine through
EVERLAM™ COOL is a long lasting material and unique in that it preserves colors seen through the laminated glass. Whether looking from inside out or from outside in, natural colors can shine.
As a superior solar heat shield solution, EVERLAM™ COOL delivers high Light-to-Solar Gain ratio (up to 1.7), or LSG, defined as the ratio of the Visible Light Transmittance (VLT) to the Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC). A higher LSG ratio means that a lot of light can enter a room while a high proportion of the related heat is kept out. EVERLAM™ COOL filters infra-red rays of 1,300 to 2,500 nm.
EVERLAM™ COOL’s LSG ratio can be adjusted for different applications. For example, vertical windows will favor a maximum of light coming through whereas in roof applications, the emphasis can be placed on heat filtration.
